The Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT in short) is the largest non-university research institution in Austria. Its roots go back to the year of 1956, when Österreichische Studiengesellschaft zur friedlichen Nutzung der Atomenergie (Austrian Research Association for the Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy) was founded, which constructed the Austrian Reactor Centre Seibersdorf on an industrial estate in Seibersdorf (Southeast of Vienna). The central object of its research was the first nuclear reactor constructed for research purposes in Austria. Over the decades, the research conducted in Seibersdorf became renowned. In June 2009, the institution, which had intermittently been operated under the name of Austrian Research Centers, was renamed into Austrian Institute of Technology.
„In order to ensure that the staff of AIT Austrian Institute of Technology can identify with the objectives and values for which the corporate brand stands, it was necessary to take an excellent strategic and highly professional brand strategist on board. We found this partner in marketmind. The team supports us along the entire value chain of corporate branding and has also created the foundation for this process. I personally am glad that in this way a success story was written for the second time. I was able to establish the first branding concept together with marketmind in my capacity as head of communication of OEBB in the years from 2001 to 2005. This concept is still present today.“
