Arbeiterkammer Wien (Vienna Chamber of Labour)
Throughout Austria, the Chamber of Labour represents the interests of more than three million employees vis-á-vis the government and the business community. As legal representative body, the Chamber of Labour is responsible for employment, education and training, qualification, and re-integration of its members into the labour market. Besides, the Chamber of Labour represents employees in a wide range of issues, among them labour and social law as well as consumer protection. The organisation comprises the Federal Chamber of Labour and nine provincial Chambers, among them the Vienna Chamber of Labour.
