Baumit
Baumit is run by two Austrian family-owned groups distributing building materials, i.e. Schmid Industrieholding and Wietersdorfer Group, which look back on a tradition of over 115 years. In 1988, the two producers of building materials, which were both regional market leaders, signed a cooperation agreement which called for the joint distribution of easy-to-use and high-quality branded products under the Baumit umbrella brand.
