Block de Ideas was founded during the 1992 Olympics. The organizing committee and the citizens of Barcelona had managed to make the city a venue of an important and unique event and experience.

This "Olympic spirit" is reflected in the daily work of Block de Ideas, by an attempt to combine Mediterranean warmth and flexibility with efficiency and reliability. The invaluable support and constant excitation of their customers has made it possible to establish and extend the activity to an international level and increasingly working together in transnational projects.

As part of this expansion, the facility in Barcelona was substantially enlarged and a new was founded in Madrid, both equipped with state-of-the-art meeting and observation rooms.
