Once upon a time Andreas Kritsch acquired knowledge about wine-making. Meanwhile however, he is all about numbers. The statistician is our expert on data mining and various statistical analyses, ranging from linear to non-linear causal models, and other things that may sound very complicated, but are absolutely crucial for our line of work. He also knows a thing or two about actuarial theory and the finance sector. He thus implemented a modeling-tool for the EU-demanded risk-free interest curve for the Austrian Financial Markets Authority and published a scientific paper on statistical methods used in poll forecasting.
