Matthias Obermeier has joined marketmind in 2016 and with his focus on relevant aspects, his quick apprehension and his pleasantly laid-back and modest character, he has quickly become someone to turn to for subject-specific questions, which he answers with intellect and patience. He takes the time that is necessary to deal with his tasks, quickly offers his help without having to be asked and provides his profound knowledge and cooperativeness whenever he is needed. His “analytical mindset”, as described by colleagues, always helps him to efficiently find helpful and actionable solutions to our clients’ problems.

International vibes

Being from Munich and having graduated in Technology Management (MSc) in his home town, Matthias Obermeier brings a Bavarian influence into our company. His study exchanges in the french-speaking part of Switzerland and Costa Rica even provide him with an additional intercultural heritage. However, his Bavarian accent is less prominent than what we had expected and his e-mails and chat messages contain more emojis and stickers than actual words anyway. Nevertheless, Matthias Obermeier is absolutely capable of formulating full sentences – and even of doing so in German, English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.

Harmony & green spaces

Matthias Obermeier likes to travel, especially across Latin America. He used to also go on concert tours, when he played in an ensemble of classical guitarists, that led him to Portugal and Cuba. Today, his taste in music has shifted towards Reggaetón, a Latin American version of rap music. Apart from music, he likes football, especially when his home team Bayern Munich is playing. He likes to create culinary delights and, following the trend of urban gardening, has started to cultivate his ingredients in his own living room, where sweet chilis and thyme grow among palm trees.
