Youthful charme and multitasking
It was not a long time ago that Sophie Buchta was born. But she clearly shows that it is possible to be both very confident and competent already at a young age. Is it because she can do so many things at the same time – like studying and working?
Aside from a surprisingly high amount of practical experience, Sophie brought along her knowledge from her studies in International Business at the WU Vienna – including an exchange semester in Cork, Ireland. Apart from German and English, Sophie Buchta also commands French and Spanish. For one of her academic specializations, Consumer Research and Marketing Communications – which obviously suits us very well – she was awarded with the much sought-after High Potential Award. Her knowledge is constantly evolving and is currently used to support us on studies on market potentials, brand and advertising controlling, advertising impact measurements as well as brand essence developments.
Theory and practice of enthusiasm
Sophie Buchta joined us as Research Consultant in March 2019 and absolves her Master studies while working. Original quote, “I am looking forward to apply what I have learned in practice at university courses – not the other way around, as it was before.”
Speaking of pleasure: Sophie Buchta is a person full of joy. Always in a good mood, she is never losing her confident attitude – not even in high-pressure situations and during long evenings at the office. She can be inspired by everything new, from new methods of working and analysing things to highly complex and decoratively challenging baking creations.
Nota bene – write that down!
Sophie Buchta is a list nerd – to make sure she never forgets anything. And she loves the unforgettable in the form of experiences. Generally speaking: if she needs action, she is doing sports – both in deep snow and deep waters. In case she prefers not to get wet, she has a boating license as well. To make sure that the details of her experiences do not fade away, Sophie Buchta captures her memories in dairies, Polaroid pictures and photo collections. She also possesses an idea book to collect thoughts and inspirations that should be realized in future.
Pretty big art – or at least purposive
Sophie Buchta has a strong leaning towards creativity, which she interestingly combines well with a dose of perfectionism. She enjoys visualizing complex correlations in pretty graphics. And she loves everything understandable, casual and aesthetic. To put it in a nutshell: ”Icons make everything better!“ This is also the reason why every report prepared by her is very understandable and easy to follow. In her private life, this desire goes beyond graphics and icons and results in the formation of beautiful paintings. Preferably on her balcony using acrylic, thereby explaining us the similarities between painting and life – there are different perspectives and everything starts with an empty screen which you can turn into everything you are dreaming of.
